This might not be much of a shot, but it has a story and I had to put it on... 15-20 years ago, on this very spot I was climbing trees; building tree-houses, hiding and crying when I needed to...
Yes, this used to be a forest... then they build the first factory, then another one... soon, the forest disappeared in front of my very eyes, leaving only some fields and meadows, until 2-3 years ago they built a big road right through the middle of it... This tree is the only thing left now, a painful reminder for me, but a fine example at the same time... of how to stand tall in the face of time and changes... whatever happens, this tree is a winner in my eyes... *full view, please... |

My brother, friend and I used to buy 1 kg of tangerines, climb on that tree and eat those tangerines.
Now they built one building and soon they're going to build another one and chop that tree down.
